About Mini-Zooms
AF DuPage continues a new concept – the mini-Zoom session – a 20 minute focused presentation on a French-themed subject.
Most sessions will take place on Thursday afternoons promptly at 12:30 pm, a perfect midday break to add some French culture into your schedule.
The topics and presenters will vary. Most will be conducted in English, but we may add some French language mini-Zooms into the mix. Zoom links are reserved for AF DuPage members and will be sent out the day before the session. Visit our Membership page to join or renew your membership.

French Crystal by Baccarat, Gallé, Daum, Lalique

In this mini-zoom presentation, we will follow chronologically four important crystal manufacturers through their history of making vases, chandeliers, parfumiers, and glassware.
If you have any crystal pieces by Baccarat, Gallé, Daum, or Lalique, the presenter (Jennifer Malpass) requests that you send pictures of your pieces so that they may be possibly shared and discussed in the presentation. This is NOT required for attendance. Please send your pictures to afdupagevp@gmail.com by April 12th.

gelatin. But rather than stop at one flavor, this decadent recipe calls for three
types of chocolate: white, milk, and dark. While we’re at it, why not add a sprinkling of chocolate shavings as a base?
