Scott has a new book, Paris Lost and Found - A Memoir of Love, and is travelling around the country promoting and talking about his book. He is making a few stops in our area which we encourage Alliance Française DuPage members to visit.

Scott Carpenter will speak about his new book at the Julius Lewis Auditorium of the Alliance Française de Chicago (810 N Dearborn St., Chicago, IL 60610). He will be interviewed by award winning journalist Dawn Reiss. The presentation will be followed by a wine reception and book signing in the Eleanor Wood Prince Salon. This is a free event open to the public; however, optional registration is recommended to guarantee a seat.

The Chicago Pétanque Club meets most Tuesdays and Sundays in Wheaton for fun games of this favorite Provençal pastime. Indoors during the winter at the Central Athletic Complex and outdoors during the summer at Northside Park, both in Wheaton.
